Gospel Reminder for Isaiah 1:3 – Vain and Worthless Claims (Indictments and Hope – Isaiah 1)

The Gospel Reminder for Isaiah 1:3 Vain and Worthless Claims

The Gospel reminds us that no matter how many times I am less loyal than an animal, repentance and reconciliation and a renewed relationship with my Redeemer are just a moment away.

  • When – by God’s grace – my life has been exposed as consisting of vain and worthless claims of loyalty and affection to God – then I have the promise of verses like 1 John 1:9

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
